6 Snacks for Exploring Ireland

What comes to mind when you hear Ireland? It's not uncommon for castles, leprechauns, and haggis to spring to mind when we're talking about the Emerald Isle. If you’re an outdoorsy kind of person, you probably thought of Ireland’s rocky cliffs, sprawling green plains, and mysterious forests. Unbeknownst to most tourists, most Irish people have a sweet tooth rivaled only by the size of the country itself. How do they satisfy their sugar cravings? Why with the tasty treats that you find at every corner store! Best of all, you can combine the two things and bring six of Ireland’s favorite brews and bites with you when you travel into the idyllic countryside.

#1 Tayto's Crisps
As the most iconic brand of crisps on the Emerald Isle, is it any surprise that Tayto’s Crisps is our first pick? The most popular flavor is plain ol’ regular Cheese & Onion. The tangy taste of cheese and the sweetness of the onion create an extremely addictive taste! If cheese isn’t your thing, there are also a variety of other flavors such as Salt & Vinegar, Prawn Cocktail, and Tex Mex. While you can definitely eat these right out of the packet, you should try sandwiching these delicious crisps between two slices of bread buttered with Kerry Gold butter. Thank us later!

#2 Cadbury Tiffin
Cadbury may be a British brand, but Ireland makes it better than anybody else. People unanimously believe that the Irish version of the Cadbury Tiffin is richer, creamier, milkier, and generally just the superior chocolate bar. Crunchy biscuits come together with juicy dried grapes and smooth, creamy milk chocolate to create this addictive bar. It's impossible to have just one. If you’re planning on enjoying the great outdoors of Ireland, you definitely need one in your backpack.

#3 Jacob's Mikado Biscuits
There's not a single Irish person who doesn't know the name Jacob's. The company has been producing all sorts of delicious biscuits over the last 150 years. But the best of the best has to be the Mikado. This biscuit has a creamy, crumbly base and is topped with two lines of pink marshmallows. There is a line of strawberry jam between the pink marshmallow, and the whole thing is coated with fine coconut flakes. The combination of soft marshmallows, coconut flakes, and the crumbly base come together nicely to create a unique treat.

#4 Club Orange
Sugary, bubbly, and with real orange bits inside, is it any surprise that Club Orange is one of Ireland's all-time favorite soft drinks? Created initially by C & C as a commission for a gentleman's club, the drink quickly rose in popularity because of its great refreshing taste. While the fizzy drink also comes in Rock Shandy, Lemon, and Passion Fruit flavors, most people still prefer the original orange flavor. If visiting the rocky cliffs tired you out, then Club orange will perk you back up immediately.

#5 TK's Red Lemonade
Initially produced by Taylor and Keith, this fizzy lemonade is known throughout Ireland for its signature red color. A unique blend of craft and quality, TK Red lemonade refreshes anyone who takes a sip! Spending all day walking around the Emerald Isle will use up all your energy pretty quickly. Look no further than TK’s Red Lemonade if you want a quick boost. It's popular among kids because of its sugary, bubbly goodness, and it's popular among adults because it's the perfect mixer for whiskey!

#6 Guinness
There's no way we can close out this list without the iconic beer of Ireland, Guinness! The name Guinness is associated with impeccable quality. The beautiful dark color and rich aroma come from the barley used to make this stout. This drink is so smooth that even people who rarely drink can appreciate it. While it's true that you can get a pint of Guinness just about anywhere in the world, there's something about tasting it brewed on its home soil that just hits different. It’s the best way to end a long day of visiting all the local landmarks!

Induced structural theory emphasizes the ability to cultivate students' thinking and problem-solving skills. The impact of studying design thinking in high school is evident through these two projects. The big difference is that its effectiveness lies in the education process. As mentioned in the literature, the creative thinking teaching mode is based on individual differences and the actual teaching situation. During the process of this research, the action process is used to confirm that the thinking process of Project 1 is too simple, and rigid. Following this, the inductive structure theory was introduced, focusing on the students' design ideas and the records of the execution process. At the end of the course, the results of the both projects were aggregated alongside teacher evaluations, students’ self-evaluation, and mutual evaluation. The score of Project 2 was higher than Project 1 by 5-10%, which would lead to a significant improvement in student achievement. The differences in thought process before and after the introduction of the induced structure is evident. Hence, it is possible to conclude that this thought process breaks through the existing framework, thus extending the imagination and generating more ideas.
